Sarah, garde d’enfant - L3Y Newmarket northeast

I recently graduated from university with a BA (Honours) in Child & Youth Studies. My thesis focused on pro-social behavior and play between children, so you can be sure that sitting in front of the TV for hours will not happen while I am watching your kids.

I have worked for the YRDSB teaching literacy at the Summer Institute, and have the practical experience of teaching and watching over students, as well as taking care of my four younger cousins. I also took French in university, and would love to share what I know with your kids (please note that I'm not fluent, though!).

If you would like me to take them on outings I have a 2011 Mazda 3 and my G license, so transportation will not be an issue.

Essentially what it comes down to is I love the company of children, and I enjoy teaching them and learning with them.
