Hello Families! My name is Leith. I am a live-out nanny looking for a full time, 4-5 day week, position. I have 35 plus years experience in varied fields of child care. They are: nanny, pre-school teacher, supply daycare teacher, and working in community children's programs. My day with the children would include educational activities- games, stories, music, singing, dancing. crafts, free play; and outings- parks, libraries, playgroups, play dates, ect. I had a problem clicking on my rate, however, 12./13hr. is mine. I feel I am worth at least that, with 35 plus years of child care in several settings. I have taken a number of courses/workshops, child care related. I will provide nutritious meal and snack prep, child related housekeeping, educational activities and outings, plus TLC. Teaching values and principles, encouraging self-esteem, and giving praise, is also part of what I do. Most of all, keeping the day safe, healthy, and fun!
