Katryna, garde d'enfant à Kamloops southwest

Hi there! My name is Katryna, and I just recently moved to Kamloops! For a long time now I have wanted to get into childcare, as I absolutely adore children! I have a lot of patience when it comes to children, which I think is a very good asset to have.
I come from a rather large family, with a lot of younger cousins so I do have experience with children, just not professionally. I am looking into hopefully applying for ECE in the near future.
As a childcarer I feel that I do bring a lot of fun for the children. I believe in interacting as much as possible with the children, and not just putting a screen in front of them. These things include going for walks, or to the park, hands on activities such as arts & crafts, taking them on outings to things that are happening within the city.
As a childcarer I also believe that is is important to address or discipline bad behavior for the age that the child is.
I have done volunteer work in Peru and Ecuador with children as young as 10 months up to 11 years as well. We would provide them with basic skill learning (hygiene), basic school assignments (as some do not get a chance to go to school)/ homework help, arts & crafts and free time to play games such as soccer.
