My name is Mallory and I am 25 years old. I love working with kids and I worked as a summer camp counsellor from 2006 to 2013 for children and teens aged 8 to 18. I am creative and fun, and I like engaging kids in creative activities such as drawing and crafts, or spending time outdoors in nature. I am very patient and understanding, and I am a great listener. I think nurturing a child's self esteem is a very important task of any adult who spends time with them, so I aim to be very positive and encouraging. I can be stern when needed but I am mostly flexible and calm. I am very conscientious and responsible, and I am someone who can be counted on. I have also worked as a private tutor for university-age students since 2010, and could apply my skills to children who are elementary age.
