Shikara, garde enfant à Montreal

Hello! My name is Shikara and I am offering babysitting services for families during COVID-19. My hours are heavily reduced at my current work and I understand that some families are hesitant to put their children in daycares/summer camps during the pandemic which is why I am available to help!

I am currently a first year Master's student in Speech-Language Pathology at McGill University. I have plenty of experience working with children such as teaching baby & parent swimming classes (ages 5 months - 4 years), teaching private music lessons to children on the Autism Spectrum, teaching group gymnastics classes (ages 2-8), working with patients and their families at SickKids Hospital, teaching ESL in Bali, Indonesia, tutoring elementary and secondary students in a variety of subjects and, of course, babysitting a wonderful family in Toronto for 8 years (started when their youngest was 1 year old). I much prefer engaging kids in fun activities (ex. sports, crafts, games, reading, playing music etc.) rather than screen time.
