My love for children assists me in excelling at child care. I first started babysitting my younger sister at a very young age. When I turned 11, I took the St. John Ambulance Babysitting Course, and I have been actively involved in safety and first aid ever since. By teaching swimming lessons, gymnastics, and horseback riding, as well as volunteering to provide childcare for families from my Church, I have obtained a lot of knowledge and experience caring for children. I've been a babysitter and a nanny for several families since I completed the Babysitting Course, and I've never had unhappy children or parents. I enjoy keeping the children active and engaged with healthy, fun activities such as making and playing with play dough, going to the park, making forts, playing games, doing crafts, and reading books. As I personally benefit from time outdoors both mentally and physically, I am fond of inspiring the children to learn and play outdoors also. I find fulfillment in assisting children to learn and grow. I also enjoy cooking and cleaning, so I always make sure the children are well-fed and that I clean up after myself, as well as encourage them to clean up after themselves and help me with the food prep if their ages are appropriate. Ensuring the children's safety and comfort is of the utmost importance to me, so I make a point to develop good relationships with both the children and the parent[s]. My schedule is flexible, and I am available for over night shifts if necessary. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you and your children!
