My name is Anne Mott and I am a qualified former school teacher. I have experience working with children from the ages of 4-17.
I am looking for full-time work as a nanny or caregiver. I am willing to assist with tutoring and homework, as well as light housework and food prep/meal prep.
I have a large repertoire of games and activities that I play with children, and I encourage independence and responsibility where possible. I believe in creative play and allowing children to explore their environment in a safe manner.
In terms of consequences for bad behaviour, I feel that a child's behaviour is a reflection of how he/she is feeling. I like to take the time to figure out why a child may be acting out so that we might be able to find a cooperative solution to help that child improve his or her behaviour. I believe in setting clear expectations and always letting children know what is going to happen next.
