Jessa Marie, garde d’enfant à Drayton valley

I am a Psychology graduate from the Philippines who arrived here at Canada last January. I am applying for any part-time job I can get before I start my university on September (Fall term) in Edmonton City. But I am currently staying with my grandparents here at Drayton Valley until summer.

My qualities as a childcare would include helping them with their school/home works. During my time back in the Philippines while I was taking care of our neighbour's baby, the parents gave me an outline of what the child is trying to learn at her homeroom and when the child is in condition, I try my best to do those things with her like singing, dancing, and pronouncing the words that she needs to learn. In addition to, I also enjoy doing self-care things together with children such as brushing their hair, brushing their teeth, etc.

I also believe that play is the most important part of a child's life. As a child care provider, I make our play as educational as we can. And I make sure that the child and I make these things together as possible but teach her a sense of responsibility at the same time.
