I am an active Sr. Citizen, who has raised a large family, and now have as many grandchildren who I try to stay regularly involved in their lives, as well.
I would prefer to look after children from newborn to school age or up to first grade. I just enjoy those years more. I prefer care of only 1 child; maximum of 2 if necessary.
I want only part-time (for now) 20-30 hours/week steady. I can cook, do some light housekeeping, laundry. Also, like to interact with child in board games, crafts, music, reading, sew, knit, crochet, some simple outdoor games (throwing ball, taking walks, bit of biking.)
I speak with experience in caring for my own family. I am very patient and kind with good morals. I prefer not to have to look after too many extra pets around the home. A cat or bird is fine; a dog needs more attention (much like another child in the home).

I would prefer this rate, as I need to use my own vehicle to travel to and from the job; also, am on a retirees income and any care for children's needs is a large responsibility and a lot of my abilities are involved in making sure the child is safe, happy and healthy.
