Mariah, garde d'enfant - E5N Hampton

I am a recent post-secondary graduate from St.FX university looking for full time summer employment. I studied Aquatic Resources over the last four years as I love the environment and being outdoors. My favourite hobbies include painting, reading, hiking, swimming and watching movies. I have had the opportunity to work with children through the Pals Program, babysitting and providing nanny services in the past. All of these opportunities have allowed me to gain practical child oriented experience that I feel would be an asset for this position. My experience as a child caregiver in the summer of 2013 included looking after three children aged 4, 7 and 8. I was responsible for providing entertainment, organized recreational activities and day-to-day obligations. Many of our daily activities included playing board games, biking, swimming, going to the playground, and playing outside. I was also responsible for driving the children to swimming lessons and other appointments. I feel that this position would be extremely well suited for me as I am eager to continue working with children.
