Hi there!
My name is Liz, a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa. I began babysitting when I was 14 and have continued working with children ever since because I love it so much! I am hoping to become a teacher, so most of my recent experience is education related- I am an art instructor at two elementary schools, a French tutor and a weekly in-class volunteer. I have work experience in a variety of different settings. I have had multiple babysitting jobs, I have been a summer camp program leader at the Boys and Girls Club for nearing three years, I was a children's program coordinator at the UFF for 3 years, worked in a french daycare and a child care program at an aboriginal health centre, etc. For this reason, I am well-trained in organizing fun and interesting activities for a very widely ranged age group.
My primary focus as a child-care provider is ensuring a fun, energetic, educational and safe environment for your young ones.
