My name is Melanie , I am a 19 years old and grew up in a big family of 10 (soon to be 11) children. I speak German as my first language but have lived in Canada for most of my life so my Englisch is fluent as well. I did a lot of babysitting for my mother growing up and in school, my Family Community Major exposed me to preschool aged children (ages 4-6) on almost a daily basis. My experience with the preschool included; engaging with the children during snack time, creating and carrying out lesson plans, joining the children for playtime/cleanup time, and assisting them with their lessons.
At home I played a big role in playing with my younger siblings, keeping them entertained, and toilet training them.
The care I would like to provide would be casual (evenings), playing with the children, providing snacks if need be, reading to them and preparing them for bed.

Assuming I will be driving out to watch and engage with these children I will need a reasonable rate to make it worth driving out. In highschool I graduated with a Family Community Major and have experience working in the preschool with children ages 4-6. $10 is lower than minimum wage right now but I am willing to start at that because I have a second part-time job right now that affects my availability. I would be available in the evenings: 5-10 or 11 if need be.
