Hi, my name is Lia and I am 34 years old. I live in Carleton Place. I love children of all ages and have taught piano for the last 10 years. I have also successfully run a pet-sitting business for the last 20 years. Because of my love for children I have recently completed the two-year Early Childhood Education program at Loyalist College. I am also registered at the College of ECE's. I am First-aid CPR/AED Level C trained. I also have a Food Handler certificate and Food safety certificate (as I used to work as a dietary aid in a nursing home). I value a child's emotional and physical development and the power of play in their lives. I love to take them on educational trips, outings into the community and nature walks. I also love planning activities, creative arts and crafts and can provide supplies and toys from my own special collection from home during our time together.
