Susan, garde d’enfant - B2G Antigonish

Susan here. Sometimes known as Sunshine Sue Children's entertainer. I have a Cd of my original songs. I had a Sunshine Sue and You show for children on Eastlink TV several years ago. You can google and read more about me on my website sunshinesue.com. It is important to note right away, that I do not own a vehicle, nor do I drive. I have my license in case of emergency, but I prefer not to drive other people's children to and fro. I can be in Antigonish on week days as early as 7:20. I prefer to be in the child's home and take child/children out of doors for walks or play time. I realize in the past few years that I really miss being around children. After raising my three children, I was content doing parties and festivals before entering St FX at age 52. It is two years since I graduated with my BA. I am unemployed and spend many hours at home. Last June I offered art the after school at Antigonish Elementary. I also facilitated a 5 week mandala workshop for a grade 3 class. My own art making is beginning to fill my small space, and I realize it is time to listen to my inner voice, which repeatedly tells me to seek the opportunity to offer safe care giving to someone's child/children. I have considered this for some time, but I felt there would be too many complications, but one never knows. It is possible that there may be a parent/parents who fit very well with what I have proposed here .
