I have been a Foster Parent for the past ten years, and have helped over 35 kids. I don't mind going to your home or they could come to mine. Before being a foster parent I had my own daycare in Ottawa and was licensed by Children's Village. I have taken many courses in child development and cpr as well. I have maintained a police check each year, and have been a volunteer with 2 different churches to run their youth programs. I have 4 girls of my own and truly enjoy children, and helping them grow in a positive way, and to be happy. I have tried to involve nature as much as possible, and take them on walks, or to the park, or enjoy our yard with the trampoline, and swings, or the hill to toboggan down. Reading is always fun and nursery rhymes to learn and sing pass the time nicely. If old enough we can bake together, and prepare food. I involve the children in tidy up time and good manners also when the fun is over. This is just to name a bit of the day, there is lego and all the games also.
