I have over 10 years of experience caring for children, youth & adults. I have my own child who I take pride in raising and who is my number one priority in life. I have worked with youth who have behavioural challenges and mental disabilities which has given me the neccessary conflict resolution & effective communication skills.
I have worked in a youth centre as well as a Correctional Centre in Manitoba. I have a passion for helping others and enjoy seeing people succeed. I have my current CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Check, Criminal Record Check and several references. I am currently an Educational Assistant and absolutely love my position. I dont consider it work!
I love reading, dancing, pets, playing fun & educational games & getting exercise! I love being around kids as I find their little minds so interesting, so adorable! I understand the need for consequences when a specific behaviour needs to be learned. Ie; time out method & re-playing the situation with different actions/words. I am friendly & fair.
My child is my world & I love being a mother/parent. So much that It occured to me to help other parents while giving them peace of mind with a responsible care giver when needed.
I do have a specific schedule so I would have to discuss eves/wknds & times.
