Hi there,
My name is Lauren . I'm a recent graduate of the University of Winnipeg, a volunteer at Big Brother Big Sisters of Winnipeg, and a children's gymnastics teacher!
During my time as a gym teacher, I gained experience working with children in every possible setting. We often had childcare days and camps, and I spent lots of time coming up with super fun games and activities for everyone to enjoy. My favourites include bubbles, giant parachutes, and playing 'monster chase'... Oh man -- just writing that list makes me excited.
As a 'Big Sister', I get to enjoy the company of one fantastic little girl who really just needs a listening ear. She and I enjoy going out to the arcade, or a park, or even just for a drive. It is truly a delight to see her bloom and grow into a young woman.
I do my best to find meaningful employment that involves children because I genuinely believe them to be a delight. There's nothing quite as sweet as a little giggle, or peeking during hide-and-go-seek.

I strive to provide excellent care for the children under my charge. I have lots of experience in a professional setting with multiple children. I have been running a children's fitness centre for over a year. I am very capable of engaging children with fun games and activities.
