Vivian, babysitting à Saskatoon

My is Vivian , I completed my Level II Certificate in Early childhood Education at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in June 2018.

I am passionate about supporting children to develop their social, emotional, physical, language and literacy skills. I am patient while dealing with children. I am this person who gets down to children's level and engage in play and exploration.

I enjoy reading stories, creative art activities, playing with children bearing in mind the goal of meeting their needs. I have carried out positive interactions with children from the age of 18 months, 2years and 5 years as a child minding at Open Door Society- Saskatoon.

During my practicum experiences, I worked with pre-schoolers. Some of my roles were; 1) to plan social and emotional, creative arts, creative movement which involved reciting nursery rhymes and finger play songs. 2) To hold circle time and read stories. 3) Prepare children for breakfast, Lunch, snack and nap time. 4) Observe children's play. 5) Help children to use the bathroom and cleaning those who were still learning to do so. 6) Sunscreen children. 7) Paying much attention to children who needed individual support.

I am strong and energetic to take care of house duties however, it will depend on what the family would like me to help with for a day.
I love cooking and learning new recipes. I do bond well and easily with children and their families. I am trustworthy. I have been trusted with
money, household items and children. I keep what is confidential as confidential. I love doing my job as a care giver.
I will dearly, be glad to work with families.
