I love and enjoy many things in this life, but children are such fun! I grew up in an European background where family, culture, and values were very important. Family, generations, and children always held a big impact in my home growing up. I also, would like to settle down one day, have children, and a family of my own and start a family inspired by the environment I was raised in. I believe the environment of a child is highly important. It will reflect upon the child's behaviour, speech, and further development factors. Being in a position to take care of a child, or children, I see it as a great responsibly because I will be part of the childs learning process in this time. I take joy in this responsibility and I know I can be a good impact of the child's growth and enjoyment because of my hobbies and background knowledge. I have a musical background; I am able to play the piano, and vocally as well. I used to sing/play in my church choir. I enjoy baking and cooking on my past time; I have volunteered to bake at numerous bake sale fundraisers. Also, I know the excitement children have when they participate in baking as well as eating the baked goods shortly after. I have a science background and excel in my studies, so I know that will be an advantage when needing to assist children in the homework and readings. I do maintain and my CPR certificate- I know it holds advantage in so many aspects. Lastly, due to growing up with a big intermediate and extended family, toddlers and children were always around and still are daily in my life. And I have been babysitting ever since a young age and continue to whenever needed. Its more of a joy for me rather than to see this opportunity as a job.
