Michela, babysitter à Lake simcoe west shore (oro) L0L

Hello! My name is Michela , and I am looking to become a baby sitter. I'm an 18 year old female who just recently graduated as an Ontario Scholar from St. Theresa's High School on June 26th of this year. I spent this September in Ottawa as a B.A student at Carleton University, but I realized I wasn't enjoying what I was doing there. I left school and came home after deciding I want to study Child and Youth Care, which I will be applying for very soon at both Humber College and Ryerson University in Toronto. I have been searching for jobs in the Midland area for the last few weeks, and I was very excited to see this opening for baby sitters. I feel that this could give me some good experience, given the fact that I plan on working with children in my future career. I do not have any professional experience with kids, but I have been responsible for my little cousins in the past (I always watch over them when we have family get togethers, and I also spent three consecutive days at my aunt's house watching over them as she went to work, which required me to cook and clean for them). In grade 11, I was a peer tutor for my drama teacher's grade 9 class during second semester. Peer Tutors are responsible for being both a teacher and student aide, and this experience allowed me to take on a big leadership role. My students were always willing to open up to me about problems in the classroom, and I was always able to help resolve them. I am always willing to help anyone in need. I had very good grades in school (I made honour roll every year in high school), so if kids need help with homework I will happily offer any assistance that I can. I earned my CPR certificate through my grade 9 gym class, but it has since expired as this was four years ago (that being said, I do still remember how to perform CPR). I play a little bit of piano/keyboard, and I have also taught the basics of the piano/keyboard to my little cousins before. If kids are interested in learning more about the piano/keyboard I am always happy to show them (I have many easy piano Disney books that I play often with pride). I only have my class G1 drivers license, so unfortunately I cannot drive on my own yet. If there are any animals in the house, I am also able to care for them. I have three dogs and a cat of my own, so I am very comfortable around pets. My family and friends always have always said that I have a great connection with kids, and I know that I would make a great baby sitter.
