Dana, babysitter : Carling Avenue

Hello, I'm Dana.
I moved to Ottawa in about July, but have been familiar with these surroundings for a while because most of my family lives here. Back in my hometown (Chesterville, ON) I used to babysit young children a lot.
In high school I co-oped at an elementary school (kindergarten, 1, 2, 3 classes). I have always loved working with children, therefore after high school I applied to Algonuin College as a Child and Youth Care Practioner. I am currently attending Algonquin College, I am in my first year.
I have done many arts and crafts, hop scotch, card games, swimming, relay races, sports games (soccer, badminton), etc. I have many tricks up my sleeve to keep the children busy, but also have a lot of fun. I don't mind playing with them, or just sitting there watching them play and have fun with themselves.
I have mainly worked with ages 2-8, although I am also experienced with very young children as I used to take care of my niece and nephew when they were first born.
I also have experience cooking, I am no chef but I can follow recipes!
