Emily, baby-sitting à Kelowna east central

My name is Emily, and I adore children! I am a high school student who loves to learn, and I would like to go into a career that has to do with children. However, I can only do times after school gets out, as I don't want to have to leave a class early (unless it's an emergency). I grew up with a brother with Asperger's (similar to autism) so I know how to react well in high energy situations.
I love babies and young children as I find it easy to get along well with them as well as to entertain them. For the first little while, I find it hard to know how to talk and engage with older children, but once I know how they like to communicate, I can get along very well.
I am able to cook, clean, help with homework and take care of children.
I enjoy playing games and I don't mind if they watch a show on repeat 20 times in a row (I have experience with my younger sister), and I absolutely love both watching and participating while they play with toys. If I don't know how to do something that they want done in a specific way, I'm willing to let them show me how they would like it done.
