Carrie, baby-sitting à Port alberni

Hello! I would like to offer Before and After School care, daycare and babysitting in the Beaver Creek Area.

I live very close to Gill Elementary and have three small children of my own ages 6, 4 and 2. My 6 year old is attending Gill this year and my 4 year old will start in September. I have a fully dedicated playroom, craft space and large backyard. We also have two cats.

A bit about me:

I was a MotherGoose and Budget Gourmet facilitator with West Coast Family Centers prior to moving to Port Alberni. I worked with parents and their young children. Mothergoose is directed towards parents and children 0-5years old where Budget Gourmet is for parents with children of all ages. I hold a valid Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR certificate and I held a Occupational First Aid-Level 3 certificate for 4 years while I worked as a First Aid Attendant on a construction site.

A bit about what we do after school:

I try to have at least one activity like a craft or baking planned for after school. For example; one day we will make salt dough ornaments and the next we will paint them. Some days the kids will be extra tired and we will simply watch a movie and have popcorn for our after school snack. I am very flexible with the plans and strive for the kids to feel comfortable and welcome in our home.

I am not a licensed daycare, I am simply a responsible mother looking to help another family out.
