Courtney, baby-sitting - B2G Antigonish

Hello,
My name is Courtney , I am a 21 year old, mature St.F.X. student who is looking to provide childcare for the summer (May-August). Working with children has always been my passion and I have cared for children from newborns to adolescents and I am very aware of the specific needs of children. I am confident in my abilities as a caregiver as I have been a head coach of both youth soccer and hockey teams in town and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Throughout college, I have continued to actively be involved in working with children. I have worked with the program Fit 4 Life as a student leader, responsible for designing and implementing activities to encourage active play and promote healthy lifestyles. I also volunteer at a local daycare, experiencing first hand, the requirements for caring for young children and build trusting relationships with the children. My expertise in caring for children include preparing nutritious meals, accompanying them on outings and social gatherings, and keeping them amused and engaged, as well as preparing bottles and changing diapers of infants. I am CPR certified and also been a Student Athletic Therapist for X-women hockey team for two years, so I am qualified and experienced in first aid and emergency situations. Above all, I know how to keep the children safe and amused in different healthy ways.
