Natalie, baby-sitter - N5W London east (sw argyle / hamilton road)

Hello,

My name is Natalie and I am a 3rd year nursing student at Western Ontario. I offer enthusiasm, patience and experience as a caregiver. I have my vulnerable person's screening, health care provider CPR/first aid and up to date vaccinations.

I have experience with children in a variety of settings.
(in order of date)
- family health clinical placement at a client's home: supporting families to improve health through personalized and targeted interventions/education
- child/community clinical placement at Madeline Hardy Public School/CPRI: classroom aid at a school specialized for children with severe developmental disabilities
- child care: private home for 3 years age 5-9
- child care: exercise group, Jazzercise London

In these settings I engaged children to participate, helped with needs of daily living, made learning fun, created educational/active games that challenge the children in a fun way, included children of varying developmental levels into one activity and provided client-centered care (basing activities around family preferences and needs).

Here are some games I created for two different groups of children.

"acting"
In this game I make up a role for each person (including me), a setting and an event. For example setting; restaurant; role: waiter, restaurant owner, guest; event: wrong order. It's fun when you know when to start the next setting and not let it trail off.

"spy game"
In this game the purpose is to get from point a to point b without people seeing you. In this game you basically hide as a group and when I yell "run" we all run to the next hiding spot closer to point b. You can also make a theme song for your spy team or a dance, usually nanananana spy game.

My schedule is open on Tues, Sat & Sun
I have class Mon 1pm-5pm, Wed 1pm-3pm, Thurs 8am-12pm and Fri 1pm-3pm
