Hello! My name is Katie.
I am looking for some occasional babysitting; either it's an emergency/last minute, evening or weekend! I am also looking for part time babysitting; 10-20 hours a week. And in the near future, I will be looking for full time summer babysitting care!

I am 19 years old and I have had a huge love for working with kids since I was a kid myself. I started babysitting at 11-12 years old. Over the years, I have babysat for many different cousins as they all have little kids ranged from 4-7 now, but I have been babysitting them since they have all been about 6+ months. So I have had about 5-6 years experience with babysitting "unprofessionally". But I have also worked (did co-op) in a kindergarten class for 2 years where I was treated as a teachers assistant/ ECE. I also went to Algonquin and recieved some ECE credits, but I have not completed the course yet.

I will ensure you that your children will be left in the best hands; I ensure you that they will be supervised, cared for, nourished and safe. I will provide your children will educational activities; we will draw pictures, paint, build with blocks, play with cars, play house/dress up, cut out objects (practice our fine motor skills), dance and run around (practice our gross motor skills), do kids yoga, read books - this includes looking at the pictures and asking the children question about what they think is happening before even reading the book to get their imagination going and their brain thinking. I will provide light meals and snacks for the children, and nap / bed time care if necessary. We will spend a fair amount of time out doors either playing sports (soccer, basketball, frizbee, etc), playing at parks (climbing on the structure, swinging on the swings, building sand castles), go on nature walks, go on bike rides, have free outdoor play. If your children are in elementary, I can provide homework supervision and help. I can also supply some educational worksheets/games/activities that I can practice with your child to help develop their skills, depending on their developmental level. I would also appreciate it if you would let me know what their favorite thing is atm, e.i, frozen, cars, dora, dinosaurs, etc, because then it would be easier for me to look for educational activities that are more likely to grab their interest ;)

I can also provide light house work.
