Leah, au pair - V1L Nelson

I am 25 years old, female, from Manitoba. I grew up one hour north of Winnipeg in rural Manitoba and love to be outside in the peace and quiet of nature. I attended junior high, high school and university in Winnipeg, graduating with Honours from High School and obtaining a 3-year Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg in 2012. I have a strong interest in the arts, social sciences and politics, but was also interested in math and the sciences in high school. I would be more than happy to help with homework and create an educational environment at home. I am happy to engage with your kids in whatever they are passionate about. I love food and cooking and am comfortable cooking many different types of food including vegan/vegetarian. I enjoy cycling, doing any type of art projects, and encouraging creativity in kids. I am very flexible and am apt at adapting to different styles of communication. I am extremely empathic and can usually pick up on how people are feeling around me and adapt to that.
