Gillian, au pair - L8P Hamilton (durand / kirkendall / chedoke park)

My name is Gillian . I am 21 years old. I have been taking care of children since I was 14 years old and have experience with children of all age groups. My job this past year has been to look after an 8 yr old and 12 yr old girls who live across the street from me and helping them with a variety of activities and homework. My other jobs have included a 2 year old girl, a 3 year old girl and two boys 6 and 8 yr olds. I love children of all age groups.

I was an Aupair in British Columbia, Canada. I worked with a 4 and 6 year old , who were both boys.The 4 year old is special needs with Oppositional Defiance Disorder and ADHD so I have gained a lot of experience. I absolutely love being around children as I enjoy participating in children's activities such as going to the park, swimming with them, playing football, baking, any sports and interests the children might have. The boys loved to dress up in costumes, we role play, play tag, draw, do arts and crafts and work on learning activities.

I consider my strengths to be a flexible person who is understanding and patient. I am energetic and enjoy a good challenge. I am overall a happy person who can sit and act out a children's story one evening and also walk to the park and play with the children.

I am honest, hardworking and a good communicator when it comes to being a part of the family. I am looking forward to traveling again and joining your family.
