As stated above, I'm experiences both educationally and hands on practical experiences. Prior to applying I had the opportunity to work with two children as a nanny for a private family in Oakville. The children were 3 and 6 years old at the time. I was full time, Monday to Friday 9 hours per day. I would take the children to parks, play dates, gardens, library, beach, swimming, walks, etc. We spent time making memories and learning together. We baked, cooked, collected nature and did creative art! This was one of the most memorable and influential experiences I have gained. I encouraged and supported the young child to print his name! He accomplished this by the time JK began :)

I also worked in a quality child care centre in Halton Region for four years prior to nannying. I was lead teacher in the Preschool room, and than in the JK room.
My experience while at this centre was also fantastic! I continue to have a professional relationship with my past coworkers and the executive director. I left this position to attend school, and then left to experience nanny employment.

Working alongside children, supporting their growth and development through engaging and interactive activities is what I do best! I believe in a balanced approach between direct and indirect opportunities for children.
