I am warm, responsible, nurturing and mature, with an extensive background in childcare and programming for children.
I am retired and seek part-time, live out work in West Toronto.
I have always had a passion for social services and the arts, and have had a long, happy work life doing both.

Many years ago, I was a Childcare Worker Diploma Graduate from George Brown College. I first worked at Walmer Road Daycare for a year before switching to Palmerston Daycare, where I worked with preschool and school age children for 11 years before changing careers and raising a child of my own.
I was Palmerston Community Daycare's first school-age teacher and created their school age program.
I was a School Age teacher at Runnymede Adventure Club for 2 years and worked at Junction Daycare as a casual staff for about a year and a half.
My other career was working in radio, podcasting, and accessible media, now mostly retired (I do occassional voice-overs and narration).
I raised a gifted child who was also dyslexic, so I know these 2 areas well.
I desire part-time work with a family in the neighbourhood.
I can offer extensive expertise in childcare and programming fun things to do, especially in creative arts.
I have been certified in First Aid/CPR. I am fully vaccinated and adhere to all Covid protocols, and you do too.
