Andrea, garde périscolaire à Corner brook A2H

I am a personable, positive 20 year old living in Corner Brook. Originally from Toronto I decided to move to Newfoundland for university, but mainly to experience living in such a unique province. I spent two years in the Technical Theatre program which helped me learn how to work long hours and in an intense team environment. Working with many different people and all kinds of personalities has been a fantastic experience as many of them are now close friends.

As for childcare and in-home help, I have spent 8 years babysitting and helping households. I am very accustomed to learning different children's and families' routines and interests. I quite enjoy working with children because they are fun and bright. I establish good relationships with them where respect is both given and received. I am also accustomed to intricate dietary restrictions in the event I would be cooking for children/families.
It is also important to note that fun is to be had! Appropriate games and activities are a must and I am happy to plan enjoyable activities for children I look after.

I've spent time in a Caretaking position with the Toronto District School Board and as well cleaning private households. I enjoy organizing and tidying as I feel it is a cathartic task. I understand labels on cleaning products and the do's and don'ts of mixing chemicals. I am diligent and treat it as if it were my own home!
