Taylor, professional childcarer in Gatineau northwest J8V

My name is Taylor, an energetic and hard working 22 year old female. I have always been appreciated for my honest, bubbly and caring personality and I do my very best to be reliable, hard working and constantly working towards growing both personally and professionally. I am blessed with a warm and caring family who has always stood behind me 100 percent and being the youngest of three children, I strive to recreate the nurturing and fun environment I was able to enjoy growing up. Some of my additional qualities include being creative, musical, a good writer, and a warm and positive person to be around.

Although I am young, I have had a lot of great experiences working with kids and volunteering with kids as well. Here is some of my previous work experience:

- I have been babysitting since I turned 13 years old (starting with cousins and continuing with neighbors and friends-of previous families who had recommended me).
- I have spent over a year working with two Autistic boys (both full-time and part-time) as a Respite Aid *ages 4 and 6
- Completed a 6 month contract through Nanny Services working with a family of 3 children as a live-out Nanny during 2011. I cared for twin boys (less than a year old when I started) and their older sister (6 years old).
- I have worked many community service hours with a family friend at her home Day Care
- I lived abroad in Kazakhstan for 4 months working abroad as Nanny full-time and volunteering with young children at the local English school as well as an orphanage
- I then nannied a summer position fulltime for a family with a 3 year old as well as a 5 year old.
- I nannied for a year for a family of 3 children (3, 2, and then came the newborn) for nearly a year.
- I nannied for one year for a family with 3 children. The youngest got enrolled in preschool which is why the contract came to an end. The position included primarily caring for a 1 and 3 year old and after and before school care/summer care for their 5 year old sister. During this time I also babysat for them regularly on occasional weekends as well as provided a full weekend of care while mom and dad headed off to a cottage.
- Experience working with a family of 6. The children are 13, 11, 8, and 2 years old. Often went along as a volunteer for school field trips, drove the girls to all of their extra curricular activities, and had them over for slumber parties/girly days.
-my most recent wages/hour were $15-18 after taxes but I for the right family I could be flexible
-first aid/CPR certified
-can provide a clean police record check
-can provide many references
-owner of a new 2013 car that is very safe and reliable (also have two of my own car seats for use on the job)

I hope to continue on this path and follow my motto "one foot in front of the other" at all times to gain more experience and lead myself in the right direction, a direction in which I love and will hopefully one day help me complete my goal of being a Kindergarten teacher.
