Lyn, professional childcare assistant in Chilliwack central

My name is Lyn, the children call me Grandma Hugs. We have recently moved to the Chilliwack area and are ready to begin a new chapter in our lives.
We moved from Langley and closed "Grandma Hugs" daycare where I was registered with the Langley Child Care Resource and Referral.
I first began daycare back in the 70's when our children were small and my passion has always been working with the littles. Their contagious laughter and infectious smiles have always kept my heart young and alive.
I offer quality care where your child will be able to develop at his or her own pace in a safe and nurturing environment. Our regular schedule includes, but is not limited to, age appropriate crafts, free play time, outdoor play, nature walks, song and dance, circle time, naps and seasonal celebrations. I work on the philosophy is that children learn best while playing and are happy.
I have taken many classes geared toward children, their needs and their safety including Food Safe, Infant First Aid and CPR, Emergency preparation, Baby sign language, Tears and Tantrums, Conflict Resolution, Teaching at Play, and have gathered a plethora of information over the years.
Being a parent myself, I understand the trepidation you are feeling when about to place your most precious little bundle in the arms of a total stranger and together we will make this transition for your child and you as comfortable as possible.
