Teresa, offer part-time childcare - V1L Nelson for the 31 May 2016

Our little boy is turning two in August. He is very social, and loves to laugh and play with others. Especially those who like to sit and read books to him, sing songs, play instruments, and toss him the ball.

He is used to being cared for by a nanny, but unfortunately our wonderful nanny is moving away! We are looking to find someone who is experienced with young children, kind, and loves hanging out with kids.

We need someone to come to our place and take the little guy out on walks or outings to the park/downtown on the bus, feed him snacks, play with him, and then put him down for a nap. The hours are a little bit flexible for the right person, but will be consistent each week once we've decided on the routine. About 4 hours at a time, so 16 hours per week. (sometimes starting at 8am, sometimes at around 1:30pm)

- Have experience caring for children of this age or younger

- Want to spend time with a sweet and sensitive little being
- Don't smoke or wear artificial scents/use scented laundry detergents

Ideally we would like someone who is between 30-40 as that has worked well for us in the past, but we will consider everyone who applies.
