Seeking: part time live out Nanny

Job description: Child care provider to work in my home / community (go
to strong start, go for walks, etc) 1 day per week (9 - 5) to start beginning in March with my 1 year old son. He has no known special needs so it is fairly straightforward child care.

Major Responsibilities

- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
- Supervise the children’s activities at all times
- feed the child food that will be prepared by mother
- Dress the child
- Place the child down for naps
- Change cloth diapers
- Perform housework related to child care, including; cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles
- Teach the children good social manners
- Play with the child both indoors and outdoors

Job Qualifications and Requirements

-High school graduate
- 19 years of age or older
- female applicants only
- experience in the child care field
- will consider those who are attending school in related field as well
- Experience caring for children
Training in early childhood education preferred
- First aid training and child and infant CPR (I will pay for this if you do not have it).
- Car, driver’s license, auto insurance, and safe driving history (not mandatory)
- Authorization to work in Canada
- English proficiency
- willing to learn basic American Sign Language as we use ASL with our son as the father is hearing impaired
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Physical ability to care for a young child
- Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision
- 3 references (local preferred)
- Bondable

What I will provide:
- payment for first aid training
- $50 per day. Willing to look into a lunch break, snacks and lunch can be provided.
- flexibility in work schedule
