Hello Parents,
Please consider my application for a dedicated and loving nanny position currently available with your family. I offer an extensive experience in all facets of childcare, running errands, cooking and light housekeeping. My diverse and intense professional background would enable me to bring a significant difference to the upbringing of your children.
My qualifications include a B.A.P. from York University and a B.P.S in primary/junior education.
As an Ontario certified teacher, a previous child care aide and nanny, I am very skilled in supervising and caring for children of all ages from infants to preteens for many years. This includes bathing, dressing and nourishing as well as setting up formulas and changing diapers. I also provide stimulating activities that enrich development. In my previous role as a live-out nanny to various busy families, I learned how difficult it can be to manage the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development. I honed the ability to care for each child individually, while paying close attention to the needs of the group.
I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for children in my care. As a previous teacher and tutor at Oxford Learning Centre, I am confident in teaching young children literacy, comprehension and math in order to accommodate for multiple intelligences. It is most rewarding seeing students' faces light up when they overcome a frustrating concept or when they are excited about what they have learned.
Furthermore, I possess first aid and CPR Certifications and a valid driver’s license. My proficiency in using computers and home appliances gives more weight to my candidacy. I also am renowned by my previous employers for creating delicious healthy homemade meals, my meticulous housekeeping and the positive relationships I develop with their children.
The enclosed resume will provide you with further details regarding my experience, knowledge, and expertise. Looking forward to meeting you to discuss further.
Respectfully,
Rita
