Sandra watched our daughter from when she was three months old until she was a year and a half, in a nanny share with another child three months older than our daughter. (We moved from the city to the suburbs and enrolled our daughter into daycare.) Leaving my only child in the care of another person was a difficult decision, but upon meeting Sandra I knew that she would care for my daughter as if she were her own. Sandra actively managed two infants/toddlers, managing two schedules – feeding, naps, changings, activities, etc. She took initiative to plan outside activities for the children, including trips to libraries for music and reading, museums and parks. She took them outside as long as the weather permitted. She had a comprehensive understanding of the needs and abilities of children and was always patient, kind and loving with the children. She was helpful in assisting the children meet their developmental milestones and supportive in their language and emotional development. Sandra was extremely professional – extremely prompt, reliable and responsible. The home was always tidy and well kept, even with the whirlwind of activities of two toddlers every day! She was able to receive deliveries, help with groceries and assist with the children’s laundry when necessary. We really cannot say enough kind things about Sandra. Our daughter adored her; both children greeted her with smiles and hugs and were sad to see her leave at the end of the day. We highly valued Sandra's contribution to our family and know that she will be an asset to her next family.

Sandra worked for our family for a handful of years (perhaps five) when our two boys where little (from infants to early grade school). We LOVED Sandra, both us as parents and our kids. She was very good, always reliable, and listened to and heeded our instructions. Of particular note was Sandra's ability to work with our one son's lethal food allergy; Sandra was careful about the food choices, reviewing for dangerous ingredients, etc. If requested, Sandra was more than willing to do light housework when the kids were asleep/naps. As had been said to us by the family that employed/used Sandra before we did... "you would be Stupid not to hire Sandra to work for/with your family". And that is still my own sentiment.
