I am a mother of twin boys (2 yrs) and a 3 yr old boy of whom I have shared custody (Every 2 weeks for 2 weeks)
I have taken care of children ages 2, 4, and 6
I am very friendly and outgoing and children love me
I am willing to take them outdoors and play with them as well as inside teaching them card games and board games
The only thing I am not great at doing is crafts
I can also take care of sick children administering medicine and cleaning up after them
If you would like me to teach them the basic alphabet etc I can also do that as well as help with homework
In my experience children love to cook and bake something which I have done with every child I have taken care of
I was certified to teach swimming (although legally I DO need to refresh that) and can easily teach the basics at public swimming
I am strict with manners and respect and will give time outs a minute per year of the child's age (if they're 2 they get a 2 minute time out usually in a chair) or unless otherwise directed by the parent
I usually walk everywhere I go as I do not drive or will cab it to work if the weather is bad ( I also have reliable friends to drive me if need be)
I have my first aid as well
I can very easily do any housework needed
If I am sick I give notice immediately so other arrangements can be made instead of rushing everyone into a last minute panic for child care (as a mother I am aware of how that can turn one's day around for the negative haha)
