My name is Michelle, I am 35 and I have always had a passion for children. I tutored in Germany for over 4 years; helping in English, math, chemistry, physics and biology for grades 1-10 (here in Canada I can help in all grades). When I was offered a position at my now 4 year old son's daycare I didn't think twice. It was such a wonderful experience that I would love to continue! Here's what kind of childcare I offer:
- a weekly theme with activities revolving around that theme
- lots of fun science experiments for all ages
- I love to cook with the little ones, teaching them about nutrition
- lots of outdoor exploration
- emphasis on literacy and STEM
- sign language as a way to communicate without words
- discipline in form of logical consequences
- I have my Level 1, current First Aid and CPR and am going to obtain my Food Handling in early September
My hours are 5am-3pm in Sylvan Lake, 6am-230pm in surrounding areas (up to 20km).
