Taylor, nanny in Sidney

Hi!

My name is Taylor and I would love the opportunity to be a nanny for your children!

A little bit about me: I am a 20-year-old girl living in Sidney, BC. I come from a family of four; mother, father, and younger sister. I was born in Ontario and moved to BC ten years ago. I am a very passionate and reliable person; I take great pride in my work.

I am fluent in both English (my first language) and American Sign Language. I am also in the process of learning Italian and French. I have my Food Safe Level 1 certificate. I also have my Standard First Aid and CPR-C and AED and my Emergency First Aid and CPR-C and AED certificates (both of which are current within one year). I spent time in the past as a volunteer lifeguard and swimming teacher, so I am very comfortable around water. I have a valid Class 5 driver's licence as well as my own car.

I have spent 14 months total experience working as an Education Assistant at Lakeview Christian School with children with special needs in both the Preschool class and the Grade 1-2 class. I have also spent multiple weeks in the past few summers working as a volunteer Cabin Leader at Camp Imadene (a job which includes being responsible for twelve young girls for one week). I adore working with children!

I will be on the island for the entire summer and then I am registered to go to Vancouver in the fall to attend Douglas College for the Sign Language Interpreting program.
