Hello! My name is Alexa Berg, I have recently just moved to Nanaimo from Parksville and now am looking for employment. I have plenty of previous experience with babies from 6 months old all the way to children that are 12-13 years old. I have over 8 months in housekeeping expereince and over 3 years babysitting. While I was volunteering at Munchkin land in Parksville I baked, sang songs, preformed safe and fun games and science activities with children and also always ensured the children were having a good time but staying safe. I think 12-15$ is very reasonable when performing full time care or babysitting. Depending on the amount of work you will be doing the rate should vary. For example, just taking care of children & fulfilling there needs (playing, cooking, cleaning up after them, ensuring saftey and cleanliness) should be closer to 12$ but if you are doing plenty of extra duties (gardening, housekeeping that is more than just everyday cleaning, taking kids out to events, cooking full meals and prepping lunches.. Etc) should be closer to 13-15$ per hour.
