My name is Melissa and I am 20 years old. Working with children has always been my absolute, unconditional passion.

I have completed nine courses in Early Childhood Education, and plan on re-entering the program in January of 2016. I have worked as a Permanent grade 1/2 Supply Teacher in a Native Community in Quebec, and a Child Development Assistant in Alberta. I also engaged in two different placements during college (one with toddlers, and one with school age children) and a co-op in high school (grade one).I am a certified Child Development Assistant in Alberta, I will be completing my Standard First Aid certification, and I do have a Valid Drivers License.

I am enthusiastic, creative, patient, understanding, caring, and warm. This field is something that comes completely natural to me. I have references available who would love to confirm my eligibility in providing your child(ren) with amazing care.

I am a firm believer in giving children their time to free play, but also staying active and providing them with an abundance of activities that will not only benefit their communication, language, and literacy, but social and emotional, cognitive, and physical skills as well. These activities will be based on their interests and age groups.
