Hello!

My name is Lora. I'm an east coaster from Newfoundland who has transplanted here to wonderful Toronto. I'm 31 years old and work as an artist (film, tv, theatre, etc), but I really enjoy interacting with children as I find it keeps me on my toes creatively, and mentally. I have taught a lot of children's theatre camps, worked at a positive reinforcement, vegan daycare for over a year, and always seem to have one of the wonderful children in my life around me in one way or another.

I like to be engaged and engaging with the children I hang out with as a caregiver. I don't watch a lot of TV myself, and it's not really my go-to for entertainment for my youthful pals. I prefer arts and crafts, making up plays and songs, reading, going to the park for a swing or slide- all of that un stuff that keeps minds and bodies active and excited. I can cook just about anything and have no problem tidying up after a long day of crafting and drawing.

I have a degree in English from Memorial University in Newfoundland but have also studied earth science, astronomy, philosophy, theatre, film, political science, macro economics and many other things. I am an avid gardner and a cat lover (dogs too), and am honestly looking to work with a great family who is looking for someone to lend a hand taking care of someone really important to them.
