Hello; my name is Sabrina S and I am currently seeking employment in the ECE/Babysitter/Nanny and or Childcare field. I have been living in Thunder Bay since 2007 and moved from a small community an hour away from Thunder Bay. I graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Confederation College in 2009. However I started working in daycares as a supply in 2008 while attending school. In 2013 I completed my AECEO Certification through an online course while working in my field full-time . I am now a Registered and Certified Early Childhood Educator that I renew yearly. I have been working in the ECE field for 7 years and would love to continue as I enjoy working with children and knowing I have an impact on children's lives. I am a mother of an almost 2 year old loving, caring, smart and brilliant daughter. I have worked in a few different daycares and have worked with all age groups. I recently ran an In Home Daycare for a Lady which my daughter attended with me. I worked with children aging from 2-3 years and had 5 children daily which was the ratio to 1 educator.
I am currently unemployed and looking for an ECE/Babysitter/Nanny and or childcare position. I am looking for something to bring my daughter along as she has been with me for the last year. I enjoy being with my daughter daily as I know she is in great hands. Being in the ECE field, I am very familiar with daily routines, child development, planning activities that are age and developmentally appropriate, cooking, working with children with disabilities and or learning delays, etc. For more information about myself and my family, I am more than honoured to explain more.

Technically looking after children is a job, which means minimum wage should be paid out. Also, I am a registered and Qualified ECE with 7 year experience. I have worked with many daycares and families within the City of Thunder Bay and have been paid between $15-$20 per hour. Rates will also be determined on the number of children who will be in my care daily. I am a mother to an almost 2 year old daughter, which I need to care for. I need money coming in to help support my family and pay for bills.
