I am looking for an opportunity to grow and gain experience in the field of children care. I have the privilege to have a family member (cousin) who is on the autism spectrum. Her love of life and exciting spirit brings a lot of joy to our family. I have been involved in the annual Walk the Walk for Autism and assist in a local fundraiser to support Team Heidi, Annapolis Valley Chapter.
The population base that would live, work and play at this special care home would provide me the opportunity share my love of cooking, having a clean environment and the knowledge that I am making a difference in someone’s life.
I have volunteered with St Marks Church over the years with the breakfast, set up and take down of various fundraisers, the Cumberland Health Care Foundation “Light the Way” as a mascot , and many others. Each one of these events allowed me to give back to my community.
I would embrace the opportunity to train and grow in any opportunity. I have worked in the food and drink service industry and worked in the Mt Allison University fitness center so I understand the importance of health and wellness.
I am working on a balanced life and feel that I would be ready for immediate part-time or full-time employment that takes advantage of my social skills and hardworking nature. I work well independently or as part of a larger team, I am flexible in terms of shift work, and am open to any and all opportunities that are offered me.
