Erica, nanny in Orillia

Hello, my name is Erica Ravn. I am a 22 year old, creative, friendly, and loyal individual who loves to help out anyway I can. I am currently in enrolled at Lakehead University for my 4th-year university, in the Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science program. I have baby sat a pair of neighborhood children I was close to when I lived in Oakville Ontario for a few years, as well as when I helped volentire at the R.O.C.K program in the Oakville/Bronte area where I was a buddy to a child for 3 years.

While many individuals have called me kind, caring, empathetic and open to others, I have also been told I am wonderful with children. In fact I had been going to university to become a special education teacher to help students with exceptionalities much like my own exceptionality which is Dyslexia. Now I know many people may think this as a hindrance, I have actually slowly over time used it to my advantage in my daily life.

For what kind of care I am looking for I honestly have no specifics in what kind of household I am looking to help in. I would if it is possible to be put in a that is a nonsmoking environment due to a bit of a breathing issue I have with cigarette smoke. Also while I have no religious background, I am alright to work in a household where there is religion and will respect the religious practices within the house. If it is possible I do no have a car so if there is a home I could be able to reach by either taking the bus or walking to that wold be greatly appreciated.

For what qualities I can bring to the table is a few things. While I can not promise to be a "Super Nanny" of a care giver, I can assure you that I will try my best to give your child(ren) the best care I can give them. I also promise that no matter what need the child(ren) may need I will do my best to accommodate it and be adaptable to change if something may occur. Lastly I promise to help the child(ren) with any work they may come across or issues they may have, to the best of my abilities. No matter what in this situation your child(ren) is my top priority.

Besides the previous babysitting, volunteering, and care with my family, I have also done the red course babysitting training course. I usually like to either makeup games and stories or use previous games or stories I played or did as a child. I am flexible with video games, pretend, board games and anything in between. I have played clarinet long ago, done theater plays, horse back ridden and cared for animals such as dogs, cats, birds, hampsters, and wild animals.If I am given time and patience I can get use to any situation I am given. While I am weak on certain aspects of cleaning, such as ironing, I am learning to improve on my weaker points in cleaning. I can however dust, clean a bathroom, and other cleaning practices.

Important to note, I am in my 4th year of University and will be taking 3 summer school courses and fall course in the future. I may need to change my schedule depending on classes, exams, or medical appointments. I also would like to repeat I do not have a car or license so I can not drive children to or from a place.
