Taylor, nanny in Orangeville north L9V

Hi there!

My name is Taylor, I am 20 years old, and I love working with children. I am currently working abroad in Australia as an au pair to a family with 5 children between the ages of 3 and 12, the youngest children are twins. I myself have 7 younger brothers, sisters and step brothers ( And 2 older step brothers at that). I have been looking after children since I took the baby sitters course at the age of 12. I've babysat lots of children from my siblings, young cousins, many of my mom's friends children, and my bosses daughter, ranging from ages 1-13. I used to work at a local gym watching the children in the daycare room while mothers completed their night time gym classes.

I'm looking for a job once I return to Canada in January to continue this sort of work until I return to school in September. (I'm interested in becoming a foster care case worker.) My current host family is happy to give you a reference of my time here so far!

I would like to stay close to home since I have been away for so long, but this is flexible as well as I plan on buying a vehicle once I return home.

I am a very patient person, and kind. When it comes to my job, the kids come first. I try my best to bond with each child individually over something they enjoy, and bond with them all in a group setting as well. I love looking up fun crafts to do with the kids, playing playdough or doing paintings. I spend a lot of time playing outside with the kids I am currently working with.

I would be more than willing to help with meal prep or even some cooking, I did take cooking courses in high school and I love to cook. I dont mind doing light house work, at my current job I assist my host mum with the weekly clean of dusting, vacuuming and mopping and the every day tasks of tidying and dishes. I would love to help the children to the best of my abilities, I am very strong with history and english, I can speak french pretty well.
