Hi parents. I am passionate about the field of childcare and currently work part time at a local daycare centre, providing personal care , snacks, games, stories, crafts and most importantly, unconditional love to children ages 16 months to 5 years.I have a genuine "mother's heart " for all children, including children with special needs. I've had previous experience as a babysitter and nanny, as well as training as an RN on paediatric and obstetric floors. I've also worked at children's camps and run many children's clubs. I've also had many years of experience volunteering in all aspects of care and teaching/engaging the children in my church. I have my grade 10 in piano and still enjoy teaching and engaging children in the art of music. As I am continuing to further my knowledge and training in the ECE field, while working, I am hoping for some occasional/ part time babysitting/ nanny employment. That being said, should the right position come along, I would seriously consider a more full time/permanent position in someone's family
Occasional babysitting | $8.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $11.00 per hour |
Home nanny | $12.00 per hour |
Because I have an RN and ECE background, I do put a lot into my childcare jobs, including crafts, games recreation etc. I believe that childcare is a very important role, and that good quality care deserves an adequate wage. However, I recognize the financial burden tosome families and am open to negotiation if chosen by a family
