My name is Michèle and my husband (Chris) of 30 years and I have recently relocated to Grimsby from Niagara Falls. I have raised 3 grown children of my own - ages 28, 26 and 22 - and currently have the joy of nurturing my first grandson - age 2 - every chance I get. I have more than 20 years experience running my own successful Home Child Care, maintaining a contract with the Region of Niagara under the watchful eye of the Ministry of Social Services. (I had more than 20 years of babysitting experience previous to that.) I have provided care for many, many Niagara families, both privately and through the Region of Niagara over the years, with children ranging in age from 2 weeks to 13 years old. I have more than 40 years of experience in this field; I have First Aid and CPR; I am available for a variety of hours and/or shifts and I can provide you with many positive references. Babysitting warrants a higher rate as the hours are often sporadic; where as part-time or full-time care would be more consistent, allowing me to reduce my need to seek other clients and in turn, allowing me to offer a reduced hourly rate. My rates are based on a per family basis.
