Hello! My name is Catherine . I'm a recent graduate from the Biotechnology Technologist program at St. Lawrence College. I'm 25, full of energy, and looking for meaningful work until I return to school at Queen's in 2016.
I have experience caring for a wide age range of children (newborn to 13) and enjoy them at all the stages of young life. I have experience caring for children with special needs and children of particularly high energy levels.
Children deserve to be loved, supported, and taught to be responsible members of society. It is our responsibility to ensure they learn compassion and respect, in a way they understand and can use. I know I'm capable of re-enforcing these concepts, in a fun and engaging way. Kids still need to be kids!
Arts and crafts, sports, video and board games, books; I have extensive experience with them all. Kids shouldn't be stuck in front of a TV all day! I'm open to new games and activities after homework has been done, of course.
I love to cook and clean. I'm another set of hands to help out with more than just childcare.
Although I do not currently have first aide, I plan to take the course this September.
Thank you so much for your time and I hope you have an excellent day!
